officebroker.com are pleased to announce the promotion of 2 of their USA team members.
Launched in the UK in 2001, officebroker.com are the UK’s largest online office space broker. Since opening a USA office in Dallas, Texas, officebroker.com USA has gone from strength to strength, with a strong presence being forged in the USA office space market.
Following this continuing success, officebroker.com have promoted 2 of their most successful USA staff.
Billy Knauss has been promoted to Operations and Business Development Manager. Billy has been with officebroker.com since the USA launch and has since proved himself to have an exceptional drive and determination along with a true loyalty to officebroker.com. Billy’s new role will see him taking over all operational aspects of the US division and also developing relationships with the company’s business center operators.
‘I am really looking forward to my new role at officebroker.com’ says Billy. ‘As one of the first members of the USA team I feel honored to have been promoted to this level and am excited about really developing our relationships with new and existing business center operators as well as ensuring the business runs like clockwork from an operational perspective.’
Lindsey Harrison has also been promoted and is now the USA Sales Manager, having proved herself as a Sales Account Manager. Since joining officebroker.com in January 2007, Lindsey has had a phenomenal track record, consistently exceeding her monthly targets and achieving the highest enquiry to placement ratio ever seen in the history of both officebroker.com USA and officebroker.com UK.
Commenting on her new role, Lindsey says ‘I am so excited!! I am determined to build my sales team to be the best in the business and I am confident my experience on the front line of the sales floor will help me to do this. officebroker.com is a great company to work for and I thank them for giving me this opportunity.’
As a company, officebroker.com provide a structured training program both at induction level for new recruits and on an ongoing basis. Every new US recruit spends at least a week at ‘boot camp’ at the UK Headquarters to ensure they are up to the job. officebroker.com employ a full time training and development Manager and 60% of their UK Management team are the result of internal promotion.
Andy Haywood is the President and co-founder of officebroker.com and believes that the company culture in the UK has transferred well to the USA. ‘We were a little worried at first about how our culture would transmit to our USA staff, but thankfully it has worked fantastically and our USA team respond very well to our training methods and everyday management style. It is testament to our commitment to our people that such a high percentage of our management team are a result of internal promotion – if you work hard, you get rewarded.
