The Wylie Youth Soccer Association, a squad of budding young players with a passion for soccer, have recently scored their first team sponsorship deal - with Dallas based office rental experts, officebroker.com.

The team have had a hugely successful run since their start-up just two years ago. Although struggling slightly in their first season, the players have since upped their game and turned in just one defeat last season. What makes this even more impressive is the fact that the players are all under 5 years old.

officebroker.com Vice President and team coach Billy Knauss, whose 5-year-old son plays for the WYSA, says:

"It's a lot of fun to watch. They're in a recreational league and because they're so young it's all about having fun - so of course no score is kept. Well, except by the parents!"

Billy was responsible for securing the sponsorship deal along with President of officebroker.com Andy Haywood.

"When Andy found out that I was coaching the team we came up with the idea of having the company sponsor them, and pay for all of the kids' uniforms, as well as providing moral support by attending games. We needed the equipment quickly, and Andy was happy to oblige - in fact he got it all sorted so quickly that the uniforms were ordered and printed within a few days!"

Andy is now a regular visitor at the games along with his mum.

Andy says: "The first time I went to see them play I was astounded! They're all so keen, and they're already developing some impressive skills on the pitch, despite being just 5 years old."

So now thanks to Andy, the team have everything they need to continue their training, and to build on their current success. The parents are also delighted by the agreement - not least by the knowledge that they no longer have to pay for their children's uniforms!

"Billy's a good coach and the kids aren't pressured in any way, they're just out there to enjoy themselves and pick up some quality skills," adds Andy. "And who knows, we might even see them playing in a national league one day!"
