Comcast takes on new office space
Published by Billy on Wednesday, November 18 2009 at 7:28 PM
Comcast, the largest cable provider in the U.S., has taken on new office space in Jacksonville, Florida. For the last few months Comcast has been looking for the perfect space to properly hold their call center and administrative operations. The company has leased 106,000 square feet of space, contained in the first through third and fifth floor of a Deerwood North building.
The search for new Class A office space began in early 2009 and, according to Comcast’s representative David Fahey of Binswanger Commercial Division, says the company looked at any space that had 100,000 square feet available. However, it was the Deerwood North building that won the lease.
According to GlobeSt.com, Deerwood North was a perfect fit for many reasons, including location, image, floor plans, and the owner. “There were a lot of things to like about this building,” says Fahey. “The deal worked out very well.”
