Quicken Loans, the online mortgage company, has announced they are officially looking for office space in downtown Detroit, something that has been in the works since 2007. Though there is no official time frame for the move, they are planning on relocating 500-700 employees to the new location.

A spokesman for the company, Aaron Emerson, says the move is based on their need for increased space to accommodate new hires, according to Business Week. They are currently leasing four floors of office space inLivonia, Mich, but have completely maxed out its usage.
