Pizza Hut, the nation’s largest pizza chain, has announced they will be moving their corporate headquarters from their current offices in Addison to the upscale Legacy Business Park in Plano, Tex. The company plans to break ground on the new restaurant support center early next week.
The new move was based upon Plano incentive which would give grants and tax breaks of more than $2 million to the pizza giant, according to Dallas News reports. This includes “grants for costs economic development grants for costs such as relocation and construction of a new test kitchen, said Sally Bane, executive director of the Plano Economic Development Board.”
Consisting of 170,000 square feet of office space, the three-story office building will be developed on the 20.5 acres of land that was purchased earlier in the month. This area of Dallas has been looking for ways to boost traffic and bring in new business. The hope is that, with Pizza Hut moving, area businesses will prosper.
