National Indemnity, a leading property and casualty group of Berkshire Hathaway, have confirmed their new lease for office space in Boston.
National Indemnity will be taking over the entire fourth floor, as well as part of the second floor, of the 11-story building located at 1000 Washington Street building. The building is well-known for their Class A office space. The move is one of many in the area as it turns into a bit of a hot spot for businesses.
“The decision for National Indemnity to relocate to 1000 Washington Street is a testament to the building and the long-standing success of its ownership and management by Nordic/Nordblom,” said CBRE/NE’s David Fitzgerald.
According to Boston/SF, the area around the 1000 Washington building “is on a strong development growth curve.” There are two hotels set to go up nearby, as well as a 350,000 square foot mix-used project that will include high-end retail as well as grocery shops.
