Lindsey Harrison of officebroker.com has become one of the very first OBCANY (Office Business Center Association of New York) Certified Web Brokers following her participation in the organization’s pilot program in August 2007.
OBCANY is the representative body for business center operators in Manhattan and the New York metropolitan area. OBCANY works to raise awareness of the business center industry and promote the benefits associated with renting this type of office space to businesses in the area.
The OBCANY Web Broker Training and Certification Program has been designed to bring web brokers even closer with business center operators to enable stronger leads, more viewings and higher numbers of deals. This is an innovative and exciting development in the tightening of web broker and business center relations, imperative considering the high percentage of business generated by web brokers.

The Web Broker Training Program is a 2 day program which provides web brokers with the opportunity to tour a selection of OBCANY member business centers and to meet up with the center managers. The tours are followed up by classroom training and testing to complete the certification process.
