officebroker.com Sponsored Soccer Team End Season on a High

The Wylie Youth Soccer Association have enjoyed a second successful season with a brand new uniform - courtesy of Dallas-based office rental experts, officebroker.com.

Last year, officebroker.com announced its sponsorship of a promising young soccer team - the Wylie Youth Soccer Association Dragons.

With the backing of officebroker.com President Andy Haywood, the sponsorship deal has continued successfully and the team have enjoyed playing their second season in the officebroker.com colors. This season, the team are sporting new uniforms in the company’s trademark orange, with the WYSA Dragons' crest embossed on the front.

The man behind the sponsorship deal, free-kick specialist and officebroker.com President Andy Haywood, was keen to get involved with the team during his spare time.

"They are superb players and despite being so young, they are developing some great skills out on the pitch," commented Andy. "They deserve to get the right kit with a proper uniform - and I’m sure we will all be watching them on television one day!"

The uniform design was courtesy of team coach and officebroker.com Vice President, Billy Knauss.

"All the parents were very excited to find they didn't have to spend the extra money on uniforms and kit," said Billy. "The uniforms are great... But of course I designed them so I would say that!"

Overall the team had a very successful outing this season, although Billy describes it as more of a "rebuilding period" since many players joined the team for the first time.

"We had a lot of first-time players in the squad. This is because my son Grey decided he wasn't going to play soccer this year, so I didn't plan on coaching this season. As a result, our veteran players chose to play baseball instead. So come the start of the season I had ALL first time players - apart from my son (who decided he HAD to play again at the last minute of course) and one other boy."

However despite the lack of experience, the team quickly picked up the necessary skills.

"All of the boys showed a lot of commitment to the team and worked really hard in every game!" said Billy. "The WYSA officebroker.com Dragon's had a great time this year. It was a struggle, but I couldn't have asked for a better group of boys to coach."

Despite the team's success, star player Grey is still uncertain about his soccer future.

"I'm going to start calling him Brett Favre. Retired, not retired…" said Billy. "But if I coach I'm sure we will sponsor the team again, officebroker.com enjoys supporting these little guys!"
